Finnish metal legends AMORPHIS will return to North America this fall for a co-headlining tour with fellow Finnish melodic death metal veterans INSOMNIUM. The extensive run will feature support from Texas melodic death/doom band HINAYANA.
The tour kicks off November 17 at Paradise Rock Club in Boston and makes its way across the United States and Canada before wrapping up December 19 at Irving Plaza in New York City.
For AMORPHIS, the trek continues the touring cycle behind the band’s latest studio album, Borderland, released in September 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music. The record marked another chapter in the Finnish band’s more than three-decade career and their first collaboration with producer Jacob Hansen.
Spanning 25 dates, the co-headlining run includes stops in Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin and Dallas, along with two Florida shows in Orlando and Jacksonville.

Formed in Helsinki in 1990, AMORPHIS have spent more than three decades continually reshaping their sound. From the death metal foundations of The Karelian Isthmus and the landmark melodic death metal of Tales From The Thousand Lakes and Elegy to later records including Eclipse, Skyforger, Under The Red Cloud and Queen Of Time, the band has consistently incorporated progressive, folk and melodic elements into its music.
Their 2022 album Halo became AMORPHIS’ sixth No. 1 album in Finland and reached the top three of the German album chart. The band also earned “Band of the Year” and “Export of the Year” honors at Finland’s Emma Gaala.
Rather than immediately following Halo, AMORPHIS stepped away from extensive live activity to concentrate on their next record. The resulting Borderland saw the band work with producer Jacob Hansen for the first time while continuing the musical evolution that has defined their career.
AMORPHIS are Tomi Joutsen (vocals), Esa Holopainen (guitars), Tomi Koivusaari (guitars), Olli-Pekka “Oppu” Laine (bass), Santeri Kallio (keyboards) and Jan Rechberger (drums and percussion).
