Finnish band …And Oceans dropped their new single “Prophetical Mercury Implement” today, March 20, 2025. It’s from their upcoming album The Regeneration Itinerary, out May 23 on Season of Mist. You can stream the track now on YouTube with an official or listen to the audio on all platforms.
Formed in 1989 as Festerday, the band switched to …And Oceans in 1995, diving into symphonic black metal with industrial twists. This single, clocking in at nearly seven minutes, blends sharp riffs from Timo Kontio and Teemu Saari with Mathias Lillmåns’ harsh vocals. Antti Simonen’s keyboards add a cold, eerie layer. Recorded at SoundSpiral Audio and mixed at Necromorbus Studio, it’s raw and precise. Some call it their heaviest yet.
