Formed in Warsaw in 2015, Aquilla have steadily risen through the ranks of the European underground, delivering a unique blend of NWOBHM grit and traditional speed metal fury while infusing their music with cinematic sci-fi atmospheres. Drawing inspiration from films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, Alien, Blade Runner, and Interstellar, the band creates what they call “outer space metal.“
Following their 2022 debut Mankind’s Odyssey, Aquilla return stronger than ever with Sentinels of New Dawn. The new record refines their sound with epic arrangements, old-school energy, and futuristic storytelling, continuing the saga of mankind’s last survivors as they battle for survival on the distant planet Yvad’déra.

Mixed and mastered at Hvergelmer Studio by Olof Wikstrand, Sentinels of New Dawn delivers ten high-octane tracks, ranging from blazing anthems like Plunder & Steel to the climactic closer Sentinel’s Fate.
