Tampa’s rising hardcore thrash outfit COLD STEEL have announced their East Coast headline tour in support of their upcoming debut full-length Discipline & Punish, set for release on November 7th through Spinefarm Records.
Produced by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Blood Incantation, Cavalera), Discipline & Punish captures COLD STEEL’s no-holds-barred hybrid of thrash, hardcore, and metalcore, forged into a vicious sound the band calls aggressive metal. The album brims with power, groove, and raw adrenaline, the sonic equivalent of a street brawl between classic thrash and modern metallic intensity.
The headline tour kicks off November 8th in Tampa, FL at Crowbar, the band’s official album release show, and runs through November 20th in Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade. Following the run, COLD STEEL will join death metal legends OBITUARY for select Florida dates in December.

Formed in 2021, COLD STEEL quickly carved a reputation for their explosive live energy and genre-fusing aggression. The six-piece, Jose Menendez (vocals), Rafael “Rafi” Carbonell (guitar), Shawn Wallen (guitar), Janpierre Mojica (bass), Rafael Calderon (guitar), and Brandon Thrift (drums) — broke out with their EPs Will of Spiritual Cleansing (2021) and Deeper Into Greater Pain (2023), featuring underground hits like “Bad Beat” and “Evil Eye”.
Their fourth-ever show saw them opening for Trivium by fan vote, a clear sign of the groundswell surrounding the band. Since then, COLD STEEL have shared stages with Obituary, Weekend Nachos, and more, cementing their place among the new generation of crossover heavyweights.
