Opening the night was VOID, the youngest band on the bill, but they played like veterans. Their latest album Forbidden Morals (Shadow Kingdom Records) just dropped on August 29th, and hearing those songs live proved this is a band to watch. Sharp riffs, technical precision, and sheer energy won over a crowd that, at first, seemed unsure, by the end of their set, the pit was moving and fans were fully on board.

VOID showed they’re ready to take their place in the new wave of American thrash.

Katon De Pena stormed the stage like a man on a mission, leading HIRAX through a brutal set that never let up. Every track was delivered with conviction, reminding everyone why this band remains such a cornerstone of thrash. Katon’s command of the crowd was total, a masterclass in frontmanship.

SACRED REICH brought equal parts groove and aggression, turning Revolution Live into a choir of fists and shouts. Classics like The American Way and Surf Nicaragua landed with the same impact they had decades ago, proving the band’s relevance hasn’t faded a bit. The balance of old-school staples with newer cuts kept the energy high from start to finish.

Closing the night, DARK ANGEL proved why they’re legends. With Extinction Level Event freshly released (September 5th, via Reversed Records), their set was a mix of new devastation and timeless brutality. Time Does Not Heal and Darkness Descends hit with as much ferocity as their debut days, while new tracks like Apex Predator and Circular Firing Squad slotted in seamlessly. Ron Rinehart’s vocals cut through like a blade, and the band’s precision left no doubt: DARK ANGEL are still a force to be reckoned with.
