CORONER Launches Music Video for Ripping New Single, Symmetry

Swiss technical thrash legends CORONER have returned with their blistering new single Symmetry, accompanied by a powerful music video directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz. Watch the clip now:

The track offers a glimpse into the band’s long-awaited studio album Dissonance Theory, set for release on October 17, 2025 via Century Media Records. Pre-orders are live now: coronermusic.lnk.to/DissonanceTheory.

Guitarist, songwriter, and producer Tommy Vetterli explains:

“This track is about vanity, ego, and how self-obsession can be destructive. That idea shaped the way we played it too. Symmetry gave us room to explore, and with the rhythmic dimension Diego [Rapacchietti – Drums] brings, it pushed us further than we’ve gone before.”

More than 30 years after their last studio effort, Coroner are set to unleash a record that bridges their genre-defining past with fresh urgency. Containing 10 tracks across 47 minutes, the album was recorded by Vetterli at New Sound Studios in Switzerland and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

Artwork comes courtesy of Stefan Thanneur, complementing the album’s themes of tension, decay, and self-reflection.
