Italian/Norwegian black metal duo DARVAZA have unveiled a full stream of their highly anticipated second album, We Are Him, now premiering exclusively at the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel. The album sees its official international release on December 5th via Terratur Possessions, with worldwide distribution handled by Amor Fati Productions.

For ten years, Darvaza have stood as one of the underground’s most commanding and uncompromising voices. Formed by multi-instrumentalist Omega and vocalist Wraath, the pair carry with them decades of combined experience, channeled into a project defined by volatility, conviction, and a fire that cuts through the modern black metal landscape. Following three towering EPs and a deliberate period of silence, the duo unleashed their debut full-length Ascending Into Perdition in 2022, an album that affirmed Darvaza’s reputation as torchbearers of adversarial black metal.
Now, the band return with We Are Him, a title that reflects its essence: a work of celebration, liberation, and ritual destruction. Rooted deeply in the traditions of classic black metal yet sharpened by Darvaza’s own unmistakable voice, the album is both feral and refined.
We Are Him breathes with dynamic force and spiritual weight. Even when the band drops to a hammering, mid-tempo march, as on the towering highlight “Slaying Heaven”, Darvaza’s presence only grows more immense.
