Progressive metal band Dream Theater marked their 40th anniversary with a worldwide celebration: the return of founding drummer Mike Portnoy, a massive tour beginning at London’s O2 Arena, and now the announcement of a brand-new live album, Quarantième: Live à Paris.
Captured at the Adidas Arena in Paris, this release documents one of the tour’s most unforgettable nights, a performance that brought together decades of fan favorites and highlights from their latest chart-topping studio album, Parasomnia.

The centerpiece is a monumental rendition of Octavarium and a career-spanning encore that cements the show as one of their most historic performances.

Dream Theater are currently on their An Evening With Dream Theater U.S. tour, performing Parasomnia in full, alongside the seven-movement epic A Change of Seasons , played in its entirety for the first time since Portnoy’s return — plus other classics.
