Italian power metal rising force ELETTRA STORM have unleashed their brand-new single Ride The Rainbow, taken from their forthcoming sophomore album Evertale, set for release on October 24th via Scarlet Records.
Following up the acclaimed debut Powerlords (2024), the band returns with a more mature, cohesive sound, showcasing both technical prowess and emotional depth.
Ride The Rainbow captures the introspective and heartfelt side of ELETTRA STORM. Opening with a delicate piano passage before unfolding into moody verses, a haunting chorus, and a soul-stirring guitar solo, the track recalls the era when melodic metal singles ruled MTV’s prime time.
The lyrics center on the dreams of a father whose life is forever changed by the arrival of a son. The track paints a vivid picture of shared adventures, hopes, fears, and the boundless joy of parenthood – with only the sky as the limit.
Evertale marks a significant step forward for ELETTRA STORM, expanding their sonic universe while remaining rooted in the soaring melodies and speed-driven energy of power metal. Each band member has room to shine, adding unique flair and personality to the record.
Some songs explore progressive textures, others embrace pure speed, but all are tied together with memorable hooks and another commanding performance by frontwoman Crystal Emiliani.
Thematically, Evertale serves as a musical storybook inspired by the magic of Michael Ende’s Neverending Story, touching on war, revenge, heroism, and the mysteries of ancient worlds.
