Alternative metal band ENTHEOS have released a video for their latest single, “Undone,” taken from the band’s forthcoming album, Empty On The Inside, due October 23 via Metal Blade Records.
Serving as the centerpiece of the new record, “Undone” finds ENTHEOS exploring a darker, more industrial side of their sound while channeling the emotional intensity at the heart of the album.
“‘Undone’ is a dark, visceral song that’s about the confrontation of the guilt that you’ve become the person you always feared you’d be,” vocalist Chaney Crabb explains. “It’s the grief of realizing that you cannot turn back time and change the things you’ve destroyed. Lyrically, it’s incredibly raw and we feel that musically, it matches the lyrical content perfectly.”
The track also gave ENTHEOS an opportunity to venture into sonic territory the band has wanted to explore for some time.
“We’ve wanted to experiment with more of an industrial sound for a long time and writing this song came incredibly naturally to us,” Crabb continues. “Though it may be one that surprises people who listen to our band, it’s one of the most ‘true to ourselves’ songs we’ve ever written. We can’t wait to expand even more in this sonic territory.”
Empty On The Inside features Crabb alongside multi-instrumentalist Navene Koperweis, guitarist Scott Carstairs of Fallujah and guitarist Michael Stancel of Allegaeon. The album sees the musicians taking a more collaborative approach to writing and recording, combining the technicality and progressive intensity associated with ENTHEOS with tighter songwriting, stronger hooks and a greater melodic presence.
“The album is about losing yourself in darkness, confronting that hopelessness and wondering if there’s any way back to being the person you used to be,” the band says.
Empty On The Inside was produced by Mark Lewis, whose credits include The Black Dahlia Murder, Fallujah and Whitechapel, and mastered by Justin Sturtz at Sterling Sound. Artwork was created by Zac Shiffer.

The album will be released digitally and on CD, along with several vinyl variants, including Bloodlust Red, Grey with Black Splatter, Neon Green + Yellow Marble, Green + Blue Marble, White with Red Splatter, Neon Pink with Black Dust and a Fluorescent Pink band-exclusive pressing.
Following their North American tour with Jinjer earlier this summer, ENTHEOS will celebrate the album’s arrival with a special release show on October 23 at The ’58 at Eastside Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, alongside Knoll, Dissonation and Vaelravyn. Additional live dates are expected to be announced.
