Australian heavy prog rockers Flitcraft will release their third full-length album, Transmission Echo, on October 17th, 2025 through Pitch Black Records on CD, LP, and digital formats.
Formed in Melbourne during the isolation of the global pandemic, Flitcraft began as the creative vision of Phillip T. King (ex-Galaxy, Butterfly). Since then, the band has expanded with Jack Phillips (drums) and Zac Halpin (bass), and released two acclaimed records: Our Long Journey to the Middle (2022) and House at the Centre of the Universe (2023). Now, Flitcraft are poised to unveil their most ambitious and breathtaking work to date: Transmission Echo.
Opening with the atmospheric Days before launching into the high-energy Talus, the album brims with soaring vocals, thrilling riffs, and progressive textures. From the driving Anxiety Machine (with echoes of Deep Purple) to the epic centerpiece Years (melding Iron Maiden’s thunder, Pink Floyd’s atmosphere, and the uplifting range of Yes’ Jon Anderson), Flitcraft weave together a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly new. The album concludes with the spellbinding title track Transmission Echo, a dreamlike, timeless finale that crowns this collection.
