Topeka, Kansas’ brutal death metaller Unmerciful have unleashed “Malice Unbound,” the second single from their forthcoming album Devouring Darkness, out May 23 via Willowtip Records. Marking a new chapter of sonic devastation, Devouring Darkness boasts 10 tracks of blistering blast beats, intricate riffs, and venomous vocals. “Malice Unbound” showcases new frontman Josh Riley’s ferocity alongside returning guitarist Jeremy Turner, with Clinton Appelhanz (guitars/bass) and Trynt Kelly (drums). Engineered at Waveworks Studio, mastered by Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse), and featuring art by Santiago Francisco Jaramillo, the album includes the earlier single “Infernal Conquering” and a cover of Origin’s “Vomit You Out.”
