Portuguese extreme metal band GAEREA have signed with Century Media Records and released their new single Submerged along with an official music video. Produced with longtime collaborator Miguel Tereso of Demigod Recordings, the track delivers a dark, immersive atmosphere, depicting a singular being overwhelmed in an ocean of thoughts.
Formed in Porto, Portugal, GAEREA have built a reputation for blending black metal, post-rock, and experimental elements into an expressionistic and intense live performance. The band’s upcoming studio album is set for release in early 2026, marking their first full-length under Century Media.
Following a busy year of festival appearances at Brutal Assault, Alcatraz, and Summer Breeze, GAEREA will tour the UK and Europe this fall as special guests to labelmates Orbit Culture, with support from Atlas.
