Shock rock overlords GWAR have dropped “Lot Lizard,” the blistering first single from their upcoming multimedia release The Return of Gor Gor, set for July 25, 2025, via Pit Records and Z2 Comics. This seven-track mini-album, featuring three new studio songs mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge) and four live cuts from their 2024 Atlanta show at The Masquerade, comes with a 32-page comic chronicling the return of their three-ton T-Rex, Gor Gor. Stream or download “Lot Lizard” and pre-order the release—available on CD, etched vinyl (purple at GWAR.net, green at Z2Comics.com), or deluxe hardback—at lnk.to/GWAR_TROGG.
“Lot Lizard” is a two-and-a-half-minute thrash-punk assault about a “crack-addicted cross-dressing dinosaur prostitute,” as Blöthar the Berserker puts it, with lyrics like “I’m not a who, I’m a what / Back row, pickle park slut.” The NSFW video, dripping with GWAR’s signature depravity, is live on YouTube. The comic, included with all formats, follows Gor Gor’s quest as an orphaned T-Rex in a twisted world—ally or apocalyptic foe to the Scumdogs? Vinyl editions feature an animated Gor Gor etching on Side A.
