Impending Doom Returns to Florida with New EP and With Blood Comes Cleansing

Riverside, California’s Christian deathcore band Impending Doom announced their return to Florida with a mini-tour today, joined by Albany, Georgia’s With Blood Comes Cleansing. The tour follows the release of their new EP, “Towards The Light”, which dropped on February 7, 2025.

Formed in 2005 by Brook Reeves (vocals) and Manny Contreras (guitar), Impending Doom—now with Brandon Trahan (drums), Eric Correa (guitar), and David Sittig (bass)—is known for their “gorship” style, blending gore and worship. “Towards The Light EP”, a four-track release, leans into their brutal roots while exploring themes of redemption, with Reeves noting in a recent interview that it reflects “a journey out of darkness.” With Blood Comes Cleansing, released a self-titled album on February 14th, 2025. Their 2006 debut “Golgotha” remains a cult classic, recently reissued on vinyl for its 15th anniversary.

  • August 22nd, Orlando, FL at Conduit
  • August 23rd, Jacksonville, FL at Murray Hill Theater
  • August 24th, West Palm Beach, FL at Respectables

The mini-tour revives a nostalgic Christian deathcore pairing, but both bands face a genre that’s evolved since their mid-2000s peak. Impending Doom’s last Florida shows were in October 2024 with Demon Hunter, and while Towards The Light has been praised for its intensity by many fans. This run promises a heavy, faith-driven throwback for Florida fans. Check venue sites for tickets and stream the new EP to hear Impending Doom’s latest chapter.
