Fresh off the launch of their “Back to the Old School Tour” across Europe, Wisconsin death metal veterans JUNGLE ROT have announced a North American tour supporting Polish death metal legends VADER this September.
The “Reign Forever in Kingdom of Blood” tour will also feature German death metal veterans FLESHCRAWL and crossover thrash outfit TRASH PANDA, bringing together four bands for a month-long run across the United States and Canada.
The tour kicks off on September 5 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before making stops throughout the Midwest, Northeast, Canada, the East Coast, the South, Texas, and concluding on September 27 in Chicago, Illinois. Florida fans will have two opportunities to catch the package, with performances scheduled for September 18 in Orlando and September 19 at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale.
Before returning to North America, JUNGLE ROT is currently headlining its European “Back to the Old School Tour,” performing alongside RATS OF GOMORRAH throughout July and KHNVM in August, with additional festival appearances at Dortmund Deathfest, Partysan Festival, and Alcatraz Festival.
The announcement comes in support of the band’s latest album, Cruel Face Of War, released through Unique Leader Records. The record marks JUNGLE ROT‘s twelfth full-length studio album and continues the band’s signature blend of old-school death metal, thrash, crossover, and crust punk influences.
Produced once again by Chris Djuricic at Bell City Sound Company, Cruel Face Of War was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio. The album features 12 tracks built around the band’s trademark groove-driven songwriting, including the singles “Horrors Vile,” featuring BENEDICTION vocalist David Ingram, “Apocalyptic Dawn,” and “Maniacal.”
For more than three decades, JUNGLE ROT has maintained its reputation by emphasizing memorable riffs, relentless grooves, and straightforward aggression rather than technical excess, a formula that continues on its latest release.
The current JUNGLE ROT lineup features vocalist and guitarist Dave Matrise, guitarist Geoff Bub, bassist James Genenz, and drummer Spenser Syphers.
