Following the successful completion of their Sleepless Empire EU and UK tour, Italian metal icons Lacuna Coil have announced the US leg of their Sleepless Empire Tour 2026. The North American run kicks off March 24, 2026 in New York City and concludes May 1, 2026 in Albany, bringing the band’s dark atmosphere and emotional intensity to stages across the country.
The tour features special guests Escape The Fate on all dates, with VOWWS appearing from March 24 through April 13 and AXTY joining from April 15 through April 29. Artist ticket presales begin Tuesday, December 16 at 12 PM ET using the passcode “EMPIRE”, with general tickets going on sale Friday, December 19 at 10 AM local time.
Alongside the tour announcement, Lacuna Coil have unveiled a new official video for “Hosting The Shadow”, filmed during their performance at Aftershock Festival in October 2025. The track features Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe, who joins the band on stage in the video, capturing a powerful and unfiltered live moment.
Vocalist Cristina Scabbia shared her thoughts on the experience.
“Filming the video for ‘Hosting The Shadow’ at Aftershock, sharing the stage with my family in Lacuna Coil and with Randy Blythe was a truly cathartic experience. Randy is not only an incredible, professional musician, he’s also a precious friend and has added so much to our song. I think the video shows clearly the level of emotion and joy we shared both off and onstage. I truly hope you like it.”
“Hosting The Shadow” stands as one of the most intense tracks on Sleepless Empire, Lacuna Coil’s tenth studio album, released February 14, 2025 via Century Media Records. The album marks the band’s first full length release since Comalies XX and features eleven tracks that explore a dark, cinematic landscape that remains unmistakably Lacuna Coil.
