New heavy metal band Leatherwitch has officially announced their debut album, First Spell, arriving May 29 via Listenable Records.
Led by Marta Gabriel—formerly of Crystal Viper and known for her work with Vader, Manilla Road, and Metalucifer—Leatherwitch marks a powerful new chapter, with Gabriel handling vocals and all instrumentation on the record.
The band has unveiled their first single, “Beast Inside”, a ripping introduction packed with speed metal riffs, pounding rhythms, shredding solos, and infectious hooks—all wrapped in a gothic horror werewolf narrative.
First Spell promises a blend of classic heavy metal energy and raw production, showcasing what may be Gabriel’s strongest vocal performance to date.
