Liv Kristine’s “Ode to Life Pristine” Single Signals “Amor Vincit Omnia” Arrival

Liv Kristine, the Norwegian gothic metal vocalist, releases her new single “Ode to Life Pristine” on March 21, 2025. It’s the second peek at her upcoming album, “Amor Vincit Omnia”, out April 25, 2025, on Metalville Records.

Known for her work with Theatre of Tragedy and Leaves’ Eyes, Liv recorded this one with Sascha Dannenberger on guitars, Tobias Glier on bass, Roland Bliesener on keys, Björn Etzel on drums, and Michael Espenæs as a guest vocalist. Sascha produced it at Twilight Sound Studio, and Andy Classen mastered it at Stage One Studio. The album mixes dark rock with doom and pop, hitting themes like healing, nature, and standing up to abuse.

“Amor Vincit Omnia” means “love conquers all,” and Liv stands with this idea. She’s been shaping this sound since 1993, and this is her sixth solo go.
