Swedish black metal force MALAKHIM have unleashed their brand-new video The Firmament Submits, now premiering exclusively at the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel. The track marks the second preview from the band’s highly anticipated sophomore album, And In Our Hearts the Devil Sings, set for release on October 31st via Iron Bonehead Productions.

Since their formation in 2016, Malakhim’s rise has been steady yet undeniable—building from demo to EP to their critically acclaimed debut Theion (2021). With And In Our Hearts the Devil Sings, the band sharpens their orthodox black metal attack into something both melodic and menacing, a streamlined warhead aimed straight at the sacred. Epic in scale and uncompromising in intent, the new record fuses their death-driven aggression with sweeping, hymn-like passages made for the stage.
The album explores themes tied to the Yetzer Hara, the inherent inclination of humanity toward evil, reflected in both its lyrical depth and striking artwork by K Pavleska (Mors Ultima Ratio Art) and longtime collaborator Karmazid. Engineered once again by M Norman, the production amplifies the band’s signature sound with a clarity that doesn’t diminish its filth and fury.
