Florida death metal force Inhuman Condition is back, revealing the artwork and title of their highly anticipated 2025 album, Mind Trap. With the first single and release date set for April 2, fans are already buzzing with excitement.
Frontman Jeramie shared insight into the album’s concept, reflecting on the overwhelming sense of confinement that shaped its creation: “At the outset of composing this album, I was overwhelmed by an inescapable sense of confinement. This confinement was not imposed by the creative process or the expectations of previous releases, but rather by the very fabric of our shared existence on this planet. Our world is in a state of profound crisis, and we are all witnessing its aftermath. It is as if a colossal conflagration has engulfed all that we hold dear and trust.”
Jeramie explained that the cover art, masterfully crafted by Dan “Babe Ruth” Goldsworthy, visually embodies this feeling of entrapment. “I had initially conceived of myself, Taylor, and Terry being caught in these various traps on the cover as a blatant representation of being held captive by the world we inhabit. Also, witnessing our deaths cements the very real and foreboding feeling emitted by the term death metal.”

The artwork perfectly complements the dark, intense themes Inhuman Condition is known for, promising another visceral death metal experience. With Mind Trap on the horizon, April 2 marks the beginning of a new era for the band, as they deliver their next crushing installment to the genre.
Stay tuned for the first single and prepare for Mind Trap to break loose in 2025.
