Symphonic metal legends NIGHTWISH have released a live video for “Tribal (Live in Amsterdam 2022),” offering another preview of their upcoming 30th anniversary retrospective, The Greatest 30 Years On Earth, arriving December 11, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.
Captured in Amsterdam in 2022, the performance revisits “Tribal,” originally featured on the band’s 2020 album Human. :II: Nature. The newly released live recording will be included as part of the extensive anniversary collection celebrating three decades of NIGHTWISH.
“Release your inner ape, enter the tribe, forget everything that is not now, and join the skeleton dance!” comments NIGHTWISH mastermind Tuomas Holopainen.

The Greatest 30 Years On Earth looks back across NIGHTWISH’s career through music, archival material and new reflections from the band. The collection includes a detailed 2026 interview with Tuomas Holopainen and guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, who revisit the group’s beginnings in Kitee, Finland, and reflect on its three-decade history.
The retrospective also opens the NIGHTWISH archives with private photographs alongside rare and previously unpublished behind-the-scenes images supplied by longtime friends and collaborators.
The collection will be available as a limited 3CD/Blu-Ray Earbook with a 36-page booklet and as a limited 4LP/Blu-Ray box set with a 36-page booklet. Vinyl editions include a silver-and-blue version as well as a white/blue corona variant exclusive to the band.
