Swedish melodic death metal band Orbit Culture, formed in 2013 in Eksjö, has released the music video for Hydra, the third single from their fifth album Death Above Life, out October 3, 2025, via Century Media Records. Filmed in the California desert by Industrialism Films and Vicente Cordero, with editing by Riivata Visuals, the Dune-inspired video, released July 29, 2025, features distorted cellos and thunderous drums, reflecting raw lyrics about cutting ties during intense stress. “It’s a raw and unfiltered track,” says guitarist/vocalist Niklas Karlsson, noting the album signifies “a rebirth.” Watch now:
