Sweden’s modern metal force ORBIT CULTURE have released their brand-new single and video Bloodhound, arriving just one day before the launch of their highly anticipated new album, Death Above Life, out tomorrow, October 3rd, via Century Media.
Watch the horror-inspired video for Bloodhound here:
Shot by longtime collaborators Riivata Visuals, the Bloodhound video amplifies the song’s primal fury with nightmarish, cinematic intensity. The band describe it as their angriest track to date, breaking their usual restraint with raw, unfiltered aggression:
“‘Bloodhound’ is about anger — at people, at situations, at an industry that often exploits the very people trying to make it within it. It’s about the cycle of revenge, the moments of acceptance, and then the anger flaring up again because nothing really changes. This song is about reclaiming your voice, your power, your worth.”

Death Above Life marks a new chapter for Orbit Culture, blending thrash, death metal, industrial edge, and haunting melodies into their most ambitious record yet. Vocalist/guitarist Niklas Karlsson calls it a rebirth:
“The album represents change, a new beginning. It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth.”

Already confirmed for a massive 2026 festival run, the band will appear at Wacken Open Air (DE), Bloodstock (UK), Alcatraz (BE), Leyendas del Rock (ES), Reload Festival (DE), Rockstadt Extreme Fest (RO), and Summer Breeze (DE).
Hailing from Eksjö, Sweden, Orbit Culture (Niklas Karlsson – vocals/guitar, Richard Hansson – guitar, Fredrik Lennartsson – bass, Christopher Wallerstedt – drums) have become one of metal’s fastest rising acts. Their 2023 album Descent and EP The Forgotten topped year-end lists, while relentless touring and festival appearances cemented them as a global force. With Death Above Life, the band are poised to ascend even higher — the sound of modern metal at its most ferocious and forward-thinking.
