Under a pale Colorado moon, Pedestal for Leviathan emerged in 2024, conjured by multi-instrumentalist Kendrick Lemke. Fusing the ferocity of brutal death metal riffing with the grandiosity of symphonic black metal, the project channels the spirit of Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Belphegor, and Cradle of Filth, while carving out a distinct identity of its own.
Their debut EP, Festering Apparition, independently released on October 25th, 2024 (with a limited cassette run via Third Impact Records), quickly captured underground attention. Critics hailed it as one of the year’s most promising debuts, praised for its balance of hook-laden heaviness, atmospheric darkness, and relentless intensity.
Following the EP, the band solidified a live lineup in 2025, featuring:

Now, Pedestal for Leviathan prepare to unleash their first full-length, Enter: Vampyric Manifestation (out this Halloween, Friday October 31st, 2025), written and recorded by Lemke and mastered by Mathew Meyer at 140 Audio. The record promises to expand the project’s symphonic blackened death aesthetic into darker, grander, and even more punishing realms.
