German heavy metal band Rage have released “Straight To Hell ’25,” a newly recorded version of their 2001 track “Straight To Hell,” originally featured in the cult film Manitou’s Shoe. The updated version appears in the soundtrack for the sequel Manitou’s Canoe, bringing a modern production to the song while preserving its original energy.
“Straight To Hell ’25” also appears on Rage’s forthcoming album A New World Rising, due September 26, 2025 via SPV/Steamhammer. Formats include CD DigiPak, LP Gatefold (140g black vinyl), digital download, and streaming, along with exclusive colored vinyl and bundle editions through the Steamhammer and Napalm Records shops.
A limited 7” single of “Straight To Hell ’25” is available now exclusively from the Steamhammer shop. The current Rage lineup features Peavy Wagner (bass, vocals), Jean Bormann (guitars), and Vassilios “Lucky” Maniatopoulos (drums).
