Shadow Kingdom Records will release a special split mini-album featuring Savage Master and Mystic Storm on May 1st internationally. Titled The Power / Wandering Time, the mini-album arrives on 12” vinyl, and today the first tracks from each band are unveiled: Savage Master’s “One Step Closer” and Mystic Storm’s “Wandering Time”. Both tracks can be streamed now at Shadow Kingdom’s Bandcamp.
The mini-album features three new tracks from each band, bringing together two of modern traditional metal’s most exciting forces. Savage Master, following the success of their 2025 album Dark & Dangerous, continue to deliver classic anthems with their moody and magickal style. Their side of the split demonstrates why they remain a dominant force in the traditional metal scene and sets the stage for their next full-length release.
Mystic Storm return after a five-year recording hiatus, building on the foundation of their 2021 debut From the Ancient Chaos. Their side of the split combines thrashing speed metal with occult atmospheres, epic dynamics, and soaring falsetto vocals. With these new tracks, Mystic Storm reasserts their position as one of the most captivating modern speed metal acts.
The 27-minute mini-album is designed to be essential listening for fans of traditional metal and a showcase of two bands at the top of their game.
