Sinsaenum Release Last Goodbye Video, Announce New Album In Devastation Out August 8 via earMUSIC

Extreme metal supergroup Sinsaenum have unveiled the official video for their new single, Last Goodbye, offering a second preview of their upcoming third studio album, In Devastation, set for release on August 8, 2025, via earMUSIC.

The track , available at sinsaenum.lnk.to/LASTGOODBYENL, marks the band’s first new material since the 2021 passing of legendary drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls). The album and singles serve as a cathartic tribute to Jordison and guitarist/founder Frédéric Leclercq’s (Kreator, ex-Dragonforce) late father, whose losses deeply influenced the project’s emotional direction.

Leclercq, describing Last Goodbye as “the most personal we’ve done,” notes, “I was devastated, hence the title of this album. But we knew we had to carry on. This record is our tribute to my father, to Joey, and to anyone who’s ever had to find strength in their darkest moments.” The song highlights the band’s evolution from raw aggression to haunting reflection, a theme woven throughout the 10-track album.

Produced and mixed by Lasse Lammert, In Devastation blends blackened death metal with melodic ferocity, progressive elements, clean vocals, and even cello, maintaining the band’s brutal core. Alongside Leclercq, the lineup features returning members Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Sean Zatorsky (Dååth), Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), and Heimoth (Seth), with Andre Joyzi—formerly Jordison’s tech—taking over drums, chosen for his emotional connection to the legacy.

The tracklist includes:

  1. In Devastation
  2. Cede to Thunder
  3. Shades of Black
  4. Obsolete and Broken
  5. Last Goodbye
  6. Spiritual Lies
  7. Destroyer
  8. Buried Alive
  9. This Wretched World
  10. Over The Red Wall

Available in CD Digipak and Black 1LP (180g, Gatefold) formats, the album follows the critically acclaimed Echoes of the Tortured (2016) and Repulsion for Humanity (2018), solidifying Sinsaenum’s status in modern metal. Follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for updates.
