Finnish space/psych rock trio Skyjoggers have unleashed the video for “Newtonin Kanuuna,” the second single from their sixth album, 12021: Post-Electric Apocalypse, set for release May 2, 2025, via Supernatural Cat, the label tied to Ufomammut and Malleus Rock Art Collective. The track, named after Isaac Newton’s gravity-defying thought experiment, blends hypnotic riffs with doom and black metal edges, showcasing the band’s heaviest sound yet. Watch the video on YouTube and stream it at skyjoggers.bandcamp.com!

Crafted by Alexi Belle (guitars, effects), Juan Rico (bass, synth, vocals), and Gabo Sabor (drums, vocals), the album recorded at Soundwell Studios, Espoo, by Janne Hakanen and mixed by Niko Lehdontie channels themes of death, loss, and despair from global crises into cosmic hope. “It’s about turning darkness into light,” the band told Doomed Nation. Following their “Tessæil” video, 12021 is available for pre-order on CD, LP, and digital at supernaturalcat.com.

Skyjoggers kick off their “Post-Electric Apocalypse Over Europe” tour on May 3 in Bologna. They will then hit Desertfest Berlin (May 24) and Esbjerg Fuzztival (June 7), with more dates pending.
