Fast-rising hardcore band Southpaw FLHC have announced their new album The Standard, set for release July 31 via Spinefarm Records.

Alongside the announcement, the band has dropped a new single and video, “Rolling Stone”, offering another glimpse into their hard-hitting, no-frills sound.

Watch the video here:

Speaking on the track, the band explains:

“‘Rolling Stone’ leans into the reality of living a fast life on the road in pursuit of chasing your purpose. Losing loved ones and pieces of yourself along the way are part of the game… the climb feels never ending, yet time continues on. But as a man, you must walk that line in order to create your own path and legacy.”

They add:

“All gas, no brakes. Driven by hunger, discipline, and a relentless passion for the love of the game. This is The Standard.”

Blending elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and hip-hop, Southpaw FLHC have steadily built momentum since their 2020 self-titled EP, pairing a strong DIY ethos with relentless touring and a growing catalog of singles and videos.

The Standard continues that trajectory, featuring ten tracks and a guest appearance from Eric Ellis on “The Path”.
