Spanish doom-death band Sun of the Dying have unveiled the haunting new video for “Of Absence”, the second single taken from their forthcoming full-length, A Throne of Ashes, due out November 21st via AOP Records.

Following their acclaimed 2019 release The Earth Is Silent, Sun of the Dying return with an album that deepens their exploration of sorrow and transcendence through cinematic doom-death metal. A Throne of Ashes was recorded at The Empty Hall Studio, mixed and mastered by Javi Félez at Moontower Studios, and adorned with artwork by Manuel Cantero.
Drawing from influences such as My Dying Bride, Anathema, and Swallow the Sun, the Madrid-based sextet continues to shape their own sound, bleak, majestic, and profoundly emotional.
