Toronto’s heavy psych power trio Tumble will be releasing their debut EP, Lost In Light, on May 2, 2025, via Echodelick Records (US) and Stickman Records (EU). This 20-minute, five-track onslaught of proto-metal and psychedelic rock—recorded live off the floor at ProGold Studios by Ian Blurton—delivers raw, unpolished fury with thunderous riffs and hypnotic grooves. Featuring Liam Deak (guitar/vocals), Tarun Dawar (bass), and Adam Guerra (drums), the band channels Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, and MC5 without a click track or overdubs, capturing their explosive live energy.

The EP kicks off with the doom-laden “Laid By Fear,” a creeping beast exploring existential dread, followed by the high-octane “The Less I Know,” a bluesy psych ripper. “Dead By Rumour” brings ‘70s sleaze swagger, while “Sullen Slaves” blends melodic hooks with proto-doom chaos. Closing with “Wings Of Gold,” an Icarus-inspired riff assault, the EP rages against modern alienation.

Tracklist:

  1. Laid By Fear
  2. The Less I Know
  3. Dead By Rumour
  4. Sullen Slaves
  5. Wings Of Gold

Formed in 2022, Tumble’s primal sound and dynamic shows—praised by Pentagram’s Bobby Liebling—have earned them slots with Crown Lands and Monster Truck. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD, and digital are live at https://echodelickrecords.bandcamp.com/.
