Montreal (QC) / Stockholm (SE) progressive metal explorers Voidchaser have launched “Welcome to Terra Corp”, the first single from their forthcoming concept album Interstellar I, due out April 9.
The track acts as a perfect gateway into Voidchaser’s lore-driven deep-space universe, delivering dense, layered instrumentation wrapped around massive, hook-forward choruses. It sets the tone for an album that tackles technological overreach, corruption, and deeply personal themes of identity, love, and survival, all unfolding across a cinematic sci-fi narrative.
Musically, Interstellar I draws inspiration from releases like Ziltoid the Omniscient by Devin Townsend and Systematic Chaos by Dream Theater, while grounding itself in classic foundations from Machine Head by Deep Purple and Paranoid by Black Sabbath, all reimagined through Voidchaser’s modern progressive lens.

Formed in 2023 and split between Montreal and Stockholm, Voidchaser have quickly built international momentum through concept-driven releases and ambitious songwriting. Following their debut EP Odyssey, full-length Solace, and Trust EP (with guest appearances from members of Caligula’s Horse and The Anchoret), the band toured Canada and Europe and appeared at events like ProgPower Europe and ProgStorm Festival.
With Interstellar I, Voidchaser now deliver their most ambitious and fully realized statement yet.
