Montreal and Stockholm based progressive metal band Voidchaser have unveiled a lyric video for “Welcome to Terra Corp”, the first single from their upcoming concept album Interstellar I.

Serving as the gateway into the band’s expansive deep space narrative, “Welcome to Terra Corp” introduces listeners to the dystopian universe at the heart of Interstellar I. The track pairs a dense, layered wall of sound with soaring, memorable choruses, setting the tone for a record that blends cinematic storytelling with progressive precision.

Interstellar I, the band’s second full length album, arrives April 9. The record explores themes of technological overreach, mass corruption, and deeply personal struggles tied to identity, love, and survival, all unfolding within a richly detailed sci fi universe. Musically, the album channels the theatrical ambition of Devin Townsend’s Ziltoid the Omniscient and the progressive firepower of Dream Theater’s Systematic Chaos, while also drawing from the classic heavy foundations of Deep Purple’s Machine Head and Black Sabbath’s Paranoid. The result is Voidchaser’s most ambitious and fully realized statement to date.
The band will celebrate the album’s release with a special launch show on April 10 at Piranha Bar in Montreal, performing Interstellar I in its entirety along with additional material. Special guests for the evening include Omnivide and Jovian Storms.
