Dutch icons Within Temptation has released their debut documentary, The Invisible Force, today, May 7, 2025, now streaming on their YouTube channel. Described by the band as “a film about resilience, perseverance, and the importance of music during the darkest of times,” it follows founders Sharon den Adel and Robert Westerholt as they engage with the war in Ukraine. What begins as symbolic support evolves into action, with Sharon traveling to Kyiv in July 2024 to perform at the Atlas Festival with the Ukrainian GOSOrchestra and choir, offering hope amid conflict. There, she connects with Ukrainian band BLIND8, inviting them to join their 2024 Bleed Out European tour—though their participation is uncertain due to potential military conscription.
