True Norwegian black metal horde 1349 will release their new live album Winter Mass on November 28, 2025 via Season of Mist. Captured in their hometown of Oslo at Parkteatret on November 20, 2021, the release bottles the band’s signature aural hellfire at its most raw and unrelenting.

“This show was captured between two lockdowns in the recent plague, and it mirrors the energy that we feel onstage to perfection. What you see here is the raw outburst of what we label Aural Hellfire. To top it off, we also included all of the drawings that Kim Holm has done of us, as he is able to convey that energy through his art. Rejoice and ravish this complete package of raw Hellfire!”
The cover artwork and layout were created by Kim Diaz Holm, whose long-standing collaboration with the band began after capturing them live at Inferno Festival and Hulen in 2012. For Winter Mass, Holm sketched while headbanging in the pit, producing visuals that radiate the same dark spirit as 1349’s incendiary performance.
Alongside the live album announcement, 1349 have been confirmed for Beyond the Gates Festival 2026 in Bergen, Norway (July 29–August 1).
