New York death metal band ABLATION have officially released their debut EP Lethal Abuse, now streaming in full and available on vinyl, CD, and cassette through Iron Fortress Records.
Formed by an all-star lineup featuring Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg, Derek Boyer of Suffocation, drummer Eric Morotti, and Rich Nagasawa of Dehumanized, the band delivers six tracks of no-frills brutality rooted deeply in the legacy of New York death metal.
Drawing influence from the crushing groove and relentless aggression of bands like Dying Fetus, Lethal Abuse thrives on bludgeoning rhythms, mid-tempo stomps, and pit-ready momentum engineered for maximum impact.
The EP also features two guest appearances from legendary vocalist Frank Mullen, further cementing the project’s connection to the foundational era of New York death metal.
Production duties were handled by Joe Cincotta at Full Force Studio, whose résumé includes work with Obituary, Suffocation, and Internal Bleeding. Artwork and logo design were created by Tannen Fair, with photography by Kamryn Nickdow.
