Heavy metal legends ACCEPT have released a new version of “Losers and Winners,” the final single ahead of their 50th anniversary album, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, arriving tomorrow, September 4th, via Napalm Records.
Originally featured on the band’s landmark 1983 album Balls to the Wall, the newly recorded “Losers and Winners” brings together an all-star lineup featuring Blind Guardian vocalist Hansi Kürsch, guitarist Paul Gilbert, bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Tommy Aldridge.
The track is the fourth single from Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, a massive anniversary project featuring 19 re-recorded songs from ACCEPT’s catalogue and contributions from 50 guest musicians. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Zeuss.
Wolf Hoffmann comments on working with Kürsch:
“We’ve known Hansi for a long time. Funnily enough, we’ve never really toured together or hardly ever played at festivals together, but we’ve known and respected each other for many years. They’ve been around forever. I thought Hansi would be a cool guy for that song, and lo and behold, he did a fantastic job. I really like how much effort people put into it. Nobody phoned it in and did a half-assed job. Everyone gave it all.”

50 Years of ACCEPT
Led by founding guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, ACCEPT are celebrating five decades by revisiting material from some of the most important records of their formative era, spanning I’m a Rebel (1980) through Eat the Heat (1989).
Rather than assembling a conventional collection of re-recordings, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 gives each song its own lineup of guests, with different combinations of vocalists, guitarists, bassists and drummers joining Hoffmann, Mark Tornillo and members of ACCEPT.
Among the album’s most striking collaborations is “Fast as a Shark,” featuring Phil Anselmo, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee. “Love Child” brings together Billy Corgan and David Ellefson, while Sebastian Bach, Todd La Torre, Dino Jelusick, Ola Englund, Alex Skolnick, Rudy Sarzo and Chris Jericho are among the many other musicians appearing across the record.
“Hellhammer,” originally released on Eat the Heat, is revisited by ACCEPT’s current instrumental lineup of Hoffmann, Philip Shouse, Martin Motnik and Christopher Williams, with Jason McMaster handling vocals.
“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the World,” Hoffmann says. “I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”
