Finnish symphonic metal band Amberian Dawn have unveiled the official video for their new single “Unchained,” the latest preview of their forthcoming album Temptation’s Gates, due out June 26 through Napalm Records.

“Unchained” marks a major evolution for Amberian Dawn as it showcases new vocalist Nicole Willerton embracing both soaring clean vocals and aggressive growls for the first time in the band’s history. Built around a traditional riff-driven structure, the song blends epic keyboards, melodic metal, and dynamic arrangements while pushing the band into heavier territory.
Keyboardist and founder Tuomas Seppälä described the track as an exciting return to classic guitar-focused songwriting, praising guitarist Emil Pohjalainen for delivering a “world-class guitar solo.” Meanwhile, Nicole Willerton explained that the song explores breaking free from fear, judgment, and inner pain while encouraging listeners to embrace their authentic selves.
