Modern melodic death metal band Ancient Settlers return with Autumnus (Revisited), a reimagined digital EP set for release on November 28 via Scarlet Records. The record marks the first release featuring new vocalists Nia Creak and Noelia Fernández Jiménez, who joined the band earlier this year and have already made their live debut with the group.

A New Chapter for Ancient Settlers
With “Autumnus (Revisited)”, Ancient Settlers revisit and transform their 2021 debut EP — honoring their origins while forging a bold new path. These updated versions of “A Monument Restored,” “Die Around Me,” and “Diamond Eyes” deliver a heavier, more refined, and emotionally charged experience.
Framed by haunting acoustic intro and outro instrumentals, the EP balances melodic architecture with epic tension, aggressive rhythmic drive, and dual vocal interplay between clean and guttural tones.
Lyrically, it delves into decay, betrayal, rebirth, and inner struggle, capturing the band’s signature mix of introspection and cathartic aggression. The release includes full lyrics, inviting fans deeper into its conceptual and emotional layers.
The striking new cover artwork, created by Khalipse, visually embodies the record’s central duality, vulnerability and strength, memory and transformation.
