ARMORED SAINT have released a new visualizer for “Not On Your Life,” taken from their ninth studio album, Emotion Factory Reset, released earlier this year via Metal Blade Records. The band have also expanded their co-headlining Metal Saint Tour with METAL CHURCH, announcing a new North American run for spring 2027.

Created by Costin Chioreanu of TWILIGHT13MEDIA, the kaleidoscopic “Not On Your Life” visualizer accompanies one of the tracks vocalist John Bush describes as a straightforward rock song built around an assortment of unusual phrases and lyrical references.

“The opening lyrics are, ‘You already know my name is John Doe / Yeah you already know but still give it a go,’” Bush explains. “I think Phil [Sandoval] had the term, ‘you already know.’ Rhyming, I was, ‘oh, okay, this is cool, like, John Doe.’ There are a couple meanings to it: the cool guy from X is John Doe. It also means that you don’t know who this person is.”

Bush also drew inspiration from expressions including “dollars to donuts” and “Heavens to Betsy,” with the latter carrying a personal connection.

“My mom was named Betty, and it’s a little nod to [BITCH vocalist] Betsy Bitch because she’s on Metal Blade,” Bush says. “I thought, ‘why not just have a little correlation here.’ It’s a cool, great rock song, and it seems to be some people’s favorite.”

“Not On Your Life” follows previously released videos for “Every Man-Any Man,” “Close To The Bone” and “Hit A Moonshot.”

ARMORED SAINT and METAL CHURCH extend the Metal Saint Tour

ARMORED SAINT will hit the road with METAL CHURCH this November for their previously announced North American co-headlining tour. The 2026 Metal Saint Tour begins November 2 in San Juan Capistrano, California, and concludes November 21 in Agoura Hills, California, with LIVEKILL providing support.

The two veteran metal bands have now confirmed that the tour will continue with another North American leg in spring 2027. The newly announced run begins March 19 in Austin, Texas, and concludes April 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with ONE MACHINE joining as support.

“Three weeks in the Fall just didn’t seem enough so we decided to do another run of the Metal Saint tour in the Spring of 2027,” Bush says. “Celebrating two classic bands from the ‘80s who also have new records out in 2026 is a no-brainer for any metal fan. Plus, there is still a lot of the country to cover. See you at the show!”

METAL CHURCH guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof adds, “We are stoked to be heading back out on the road with our friends in ARMORED SAINT for another round of the Metal Saint Tour!”

Drummer Ken Mary adds, “We are really looking forward to so many fans and friends on tour on this run and we are honored to be with our brothers in metal, ARMORED SAINT!”

The spring run will include stops in Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah and Nevada. The March 20 appearance at Hell’s Heroes in Houston will not feature ONE MACHINE.

Emotion Factory Reset

Released via Metal Blade Records, Emotion Factory Reset is ARMORED SAINT’s ninth studio album and follows 2020’s Punching the Sky. The eleven-song record was produced by bassist Joey Vera, continuing his production role across the band’s previous four albums, and mixed by Jay Ruston, whose credits include ANTHRAX and STONE SOUR.

Recording took place across 606 Studios, Secret Hand Studios, Skullseven Studios, Constantine Studios and Bridge Recording, with Oliver Roman, Bill Metoyer, Joey Vera and Jason Constantine handling engineering duties. The album artwork was created by DDKing.
