ATAVISTIA will release their new single Through The Hollow Raven’s Eyes (Reforged) on November 14 through Blood Blast Distribution. The track is the second preview of the fully re-recorded album The Winter Way (Reforged), set for release on December 12.

Originally released in 2020, The Winter Way has been rebuilt from the ground up. The reforged edition features new arrangements, updated orchestral elements, and modern production led by Matthew Richard Sippola at Atavistic Studios. Some drum and bass parts from the original recordings remain, while new vocal performances and refined instrumentation complete the updated version.
The new lineup for the recording includes Mattias Sippola on vocals, guitars, and orchestrations, Max Sepulveda on drums, Spencer Budworth on backing vocals, and D’wayne Murray on bass. Artwork was created by Simo Häsänen.
Through The Hollow Raven’s Eyes (Reforged) is described as the fastest and most complex composition on the album, featuring revised structures and adjusted vocal melodies.
Formed in 2017 in Vancouver, ATAVISTIA blend symphonic, melodic death metal, and black metal influences with themes drawn from nature and Norse cultural motifs. Their discography includes One With The Sun, the original The Winter Way, Cosmic Warfare, and Inane Duncam.
