Finnish heavy metal band Battle Beast has released their new single “Last Goodbye,” accompanied by a Middle-Earth-inspired music video, today, May 8, 2025. The track, premiered on Nuclear Blast’s YouTube channel, is available for streaming at battlebeast.bfan.link/last-goodbye. Directed by Patric Ullaeus, the video complements the song’s epic tone, with lyrics like “Though outnumbered by the bastards / Hell, you’ll live to bury ’em all,” showcasing resilience and defiance. The single, written by bassist Eero Sipilä, was produced and mixed by Janne Björkroth at JKB Studios and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios.

Formed in 2008 in Helsinki, Battle Beast—Noora Louhimo (vocals), Joona Björkroth (guitar), Juuso Soinio (guitar), Eero Sipilä (bass), Janne Björkroth (keyboards), and Pyry Vikki (drums)—has become a powerhouse in modern heavy metal. Known for their “100% heavy metal – 0% bullshit” ethos, they’ve evolved from their 2012 debut Steel to their heavier 2022 album Circus of Doom. “Last Goodbye” marks the first single from their upcoming seventh album, hinted at with the hashtag #BBVII, following their 2019 release No More Hollywood Endings. The band has toured with Nightwish, Sabaton, and Kamelot, and is set for summer festivals like Wacken Open Air (July 31). Stream “Last Goodbye” now and check tour dates at battlebeast.fi/tour!
