Finnish power metal band Battle Beast has premiered the official music video for their new single “Steelbound” today, via Nuclear Blast. The track is the title song from their seventh studio album, Steelbound, set for release in October 2025. Directed by an uncredited filmmaker, the video delivers a cinematic experience, amplifying the song’s fierce spirit and message of empowerment with striking visuals. Keyboardist, producer, and composer Janne Björkroth describes “Steelbound” as “a song that is both heavy and light at the same time… It goes through the walls with a bang… without forgetting the groove and the little twinkle in the eye.” The anthem, a battle cry for the dismissed and silenced, addresses resilience and defiance against injustice.

Björkroth reflects, “‘Steelbound’ is a song about all of us. About the power to resist injustice and the respect that belongs to everyone.”
‘Steelbound’ is a power song for all of us trying to navigate difficult life situations… Let’s rise together, because we are ‘Steelbound!’” The single follows their May 2025 release “Last Goodbye,” inspired by bassist Eero Sipilä’s hospital encounter with a cancer patient’s resilience.
