Bruce Dickinson Releases Reimagined Gods of War from More Balls To Picasso

British heavy metal vocalist Bruce Dickinson has released the official lyric video for the 2025 reimagined version of Gods of War, the lead single from his reworked 1994 solo album, now titled More Balls To Picasso, set for release on July 25, 2025, via BMG.

The track, available at brucedickinson.lnk.to/moreballstopicassoyv, features new guitars by Philip Näslund, arrangements and keys by Antonio Teoli, and production, remixing, and mastering by Brendan Duffey for Brendan Duffey Audio. Originally written by Dickinson and Roy Z and produced by Shay Baby, the reimagined version incorporates indigenous Amazonian instruments by Teoli, enhancing its atmospheric depth. The lineup includes Dickinson (vocals), Roy Z (guitar), Eddie Casillas (bass), David Ingraham (drums), and Doug Van Booven (percussion).

More Balls To Picasso revisits Dickinson’s second solo album, originally released in 1994 after his temporary departure from Iron Maiden (he rejoined in 1999). The reimagined album includes the original tracklist—Cyclops, Hell No, Gods of War, 1000 Points of Light, Laughing in the Hiding Bush, Change of Heart, Shoot All the Clowns, Fire, Sacred Cowboys, and Tears of the Dragon—plus two previously unreleased live-in-the-studio tracks, Gods of War and Shoot All the Clowns. It will be available as a splatter vinyl double album and tri-panel digisleeve CD. Pre-orders are open at brucedickinson.lnk.to/moreballstopicassoyv.

Following the release, Dickinson will embark on The Mandrake Project Live 2025 North American tour, his first extensive solo tour in nearly 30 years, supporting his 2024 album The Mandrake Project. The tour includes:
