Phoenix, Arizona’s Incite have unleashed their new single, Lies, just in time for their upcoming stint on the Summer Slaughter tour. The track, featured on their highly anticipated album Savage New Times, set for release on August 15, 2025, via Reigning Phoenix Music, showcases a potent mix of speed and groove, hinting at the intensity fans can expect. Frontman Richie Cavalera comments, “We didn’t hold back on the intensity with Lies. The message demanded that energy. Every riff, every word speaks to those moments when you realize someone’s true colors. It’s a song with purpose, written for anyone who’s dealt with deception.” Produced by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Hatebreed) and mixed by Arthur Rizk (Soulfly, Municipal Waste), with striking artwork by Marcelo Vasco (Slayer, Kerry King), the album promises a raw thrash experience.
Formed in 2004, Incite—featuring Cavalera (vocals), Lennon Lopez (drums), EL (bass), and new guitarist Layne Richardson—have evolved their sound across multiple releases, earning a reputation for relentless touring and grit, including a 500-mile blizzard drive to perform.
