Colorado’s traditional heavy metal band Chamber Mage dropped their debut album “By Light Of Emerald Gods” for streaming today, March 25, 2025, via NWOTHM Full Albums. The record officially releases this Friday, March 28, on Nameless Grave Records.

Formed in Denver in 2021, Chamber Mage—vocalist Eric Lee, guitarists Ryan Flint and Sean McGrew, bassist Kyle Roper, and drummer Matt Voss—delivers 50 minutes of galloping riffs and soaring melodies across eight tracks. Songs like “Forged in Dragonfire” and “Emerald Gods” weave tales of battle and magic, drawing from influences like Manilla Road and Jag Panzer. Recorded and mixed by Ivan Alcala at Cadaver Audio, mastered by Andrew Lee, the album features guest cello by Angela Jensen on the closer and a choir with JP Abboud and Taylor Webb. Decibel Magazine calls it “gritty, greasy underground trad metal.”

The band just played Hell’s Heroes in Houston on March 21, sharing the stage with Abbath, Saxon, and Crimson Glory. Fans at the fest praised their live energy, with one user noting their “huge riffs and killer vocals.” Pre-order “By Light Of Emerald Gods” on CD or LP at Nameless Grave Records’ webshop or Bandcamp. More live dates are coming—stream the album now and catch their sword-and-sorcery sound live.
