Mellom Unveils Visualizer for “The Ruins Inside Of Me” from “The Empire of Gloom”

Mellom, a black/death metal duo from Frankfurt, Germany, released a visualizer for “The Ruins Inside Of Me” today, March 24, 2025. The song is from their debut album “The Empire of Gloom”, out via Folter Records.

Founded in 2023, Mellom blends black and death metal with atmospheric layers. Skadi handles vocals, while David Hübsch covers guitars, bass, and drums. “The Ruins Inside Of Me”, at 4:32, kicks off the nine-track album with themes of loss and struggle, backed by raw riffs and a moody midsection. Recorded at Hidden Stash Studios, the visualizer pairs the song with stark, crumbling visuals. The name “Mellom”, Norwegian for “between”, reflects their focus on life, death, and frailty.

The full album, “The Empire of Gloom”, spans nine tracks and is available on DigiCD and vinyl. Stream the visualizer now and dig into their bleak, heavy sound.
