Brazilian heavy metallers CREATURES have dropped the official video for their new single Devil in Disguise, taken from their upcoming album Creatures II, set for release on November 14th, 2025 via High Roller Records.
Formed in Curitiba in 2019, CREATURES stand out as one of the few defenders of traditional heavy metal in a Brazilian scene dominated by extreme styles. Their 2021 self-titled debut introduced their blend of classic heavy metal and hard rock, earning them recognition and a deal with Bart Gabriel’s Iron Oxide Records.
Now, with Creatures II, the band delivers a heavier, darker, and more mature continuation of their sound. Recorded between September 2024 and March 2025 at Heavy Tron Studio with producer Arthur Migotto (Hazy Hamlet), the album was spearheaded musically and lyrically by guitarist Mateus Cantaleäno. The lineup also features Marc Brito (vocals), Ricke Nunes (bass), and Sidnei Dubiella (drums), with guest contributions from Caio Vidal (keyboards) and Migotto himself (additional vocals).

“Musically, the album is literally a mix of heavy metal and hard rock, with a darker, more evil vibe,” says Cantaleäno. “It carries what I believe is the essence of the band – dynamic songs that combine riffs with arpeggios, catchy choruses with darker melodies.”
Often described as a hybrid of Dokken, Ratt, and Judas Priest, CREATURES embrace their influences while carving their own path. Cantaleäno adds: “Creatures II is heavier, darker, and more mature than the first album, but both records share the same DNA – powerful riffs, harmonized vocals, wild solos, and plenty of energy.”
With Creatures II, CREATURES cement themselves as one of Brazil’s most promising heavy metal forces, keeping the spirit of traditional metal alive while pushing their sound into darker territory.
