Crystal Lake Premiere Crossing Nails Single and Announce New Album for January 2026

Japanese metalcore/nu-metal band Crystal Lake, formed in 2002 in Tokyo, premiered their new single Crossing Nails on August 7, 2025, via Century Media Records’ YouTube channel, with a visualizer video. Stream it at crystal-lake-band.lnk.to/CrossingNails and watch the video at:

The band’s first release of 2025 and second since signing with Century Media Records in May 2024, Crossing Nails is a blistering nu-metal anthem, with vocalist John Robert Centorrino reflecting on his struggles with religion and control, and guitarist Yudai “YD” Miyamoto highlighting its catchy structure and fresh grooves. The single accompanies the announcement of their yet-unnamed sixth album, set for January 2026, their first since 2018’s Helix. The lineup includes John Robert Centorrino (vocals), Yudai Miyamoto (guitar), Hisatsugu “TJ” Taji (guitar), Mitsuru (bass), and Gaku Taura (drums). Crystal Lake is currently touring Europe, with headlining shows in Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands from August 14-21, 2025, joined by Angelmaker at select dates.
